Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.

Your new role

The primary role of the Solution Team member is to support Application Specialist to ensure the delivery of high-quality process and technical solutions together with proper documentation, validation and testing, data preparation and change request implementation.

As a S/4HANA Global Trade Services Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the business in user requirements specifications for Core and Local Deployment?; create functional design specifications (FDS) and support developers on the creation of the technical design specifications (TDS) (configuration documents and RICEFs); and build and Unit Test the functional solution throughout the program and document as per program methodology.? It is your job to provide support to global data cleansing, migration and business role definition when required?; support preparation of design workshops and follow up activities; support preparation? of the Change Requests for Core functionalities and local requirement? and support E2E Testing activities (scoping, testing documentation, data and other prerequisites). ?You will have to support the creation of Cutover plan and execution in areas; and support the technical cut-over, go-live and Hypercare when required for spot checks, soft configuration and resolution of defects. Your role needs to work in the Agile team in delivery of the User Stories ?and you have to attend Agile team events (Planning, tracking and retrospective)?. Finally, you will have to support the estimation exercise; and participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt(I&A) events.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a talented professional with three to five years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Global Trade Services, ideally in the Life Sciences industry. You will need to be familiar with Agile Delivery principles and frameworks, and with Global Trade Services (GTS) and Materials Management (MM) modules. We expect you to be experienced with Intercompany Sales Management, International Trade and Forward / Reversed Logistics. You must be able to assist/drive solution and process design discussions, which requires a clear understanding of business processes in the application area, including integration points with other areas. Strong communication and problem solving skills are essential for success in this role, along with the ability to express complex technical concepts into easily understood terms. Additionally, business acumen and collaboration skills are required, as well as being able to operate in a dynamic environment.
