Your new company

Software Engineering company based in Porto is looking to hire an experienced Reward & Benefits professional to join their People Team, who will be responsible for all aspects of reward across the location, including driving the creation of an innovative reward and benefits strategy.

Your new role

  • Review the existing reward structure and develop a reward strategy that ensures a consistent approach for all levels across the organization.

  • Works closely with People Partners, HR Operations and the Group Reward team, to ensure the company has the most attractive reward and benefits offer that is aligned with our Market.

  • Work closely with the People Director, People Partners and Group Reward team in proposing improvements and reviewing our benefits and reward offer, by conducting analysis and surveys to get input from our population and market.

  • Review the reward and benefits offered, ensuring that all are appropriate and aligned with the legislation, taxes, and other external or internal policies and practices.

  • Manage the Flexible Benefits, ensuring that our employees are given a personalized experience while managing their benefits.

  • Whenever needed, design policies from scratch and iterate them throughout their implementation or keep updated the existing ones.

  • Conduct regular internal and external data market analysis, to ensure we are disrupting our offer, we find any gaps and propose solutions to mitigate them.

  • Support the annual remuneration review process and other reward and benefits processes from A to Z.

  • Perform necessary job leveling, job matching and benchmark activities and ensure relevant input information is gathered from the company.

  • Develop and update the Total Reward Statement to support the attraction and retention of staff.

  • Support projects across the Group with linkages to reward and benefits that can affect Porto.

  • Provide data and benchmarking information for the Group Reward team and support with any projects that arise from that streamline.

  • Lead and manage our local 3rd party reward and benefits partnerships.

What you need to succeed

  • Professional with strong Compensation and Benefits experience, preferentially in the Tech market.

  • Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail.

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good legal and tax knowledge.

  • Strong collaboration skills, as well as great English communication skills, written and oral.
