We're currently recruiting for a Shared Service Center which is looking to expand its team. The Benefits Specialist will provide specialist benefits advisory to managers and staff as part of the SSC, covering all aspects of the benefits framework.





Your new role




  • Provide timely and consistent support to managers ensuring ownership and responsibilities remain in the appropriate places

  • Maintaining knowledge management and documentation to ensure managers and staff always have access to current and compliant documents and guidance

  • Provide learning opportunities and capability uplift managers and HR staff to drive effective utilisation of HR policy and process; always seeking to identify coaching opportunities through interactions



  • Advise and guide the business and HRBPs on the application of the flexible benefits scheme

  • Work collaboratively with reward to ensure new developments are implemented effectively

  • Manage the Plan to Perform (P2P) for Benefits providers, solving any issues in collaboration with Finance and the providers as needed

  • Manage the annual buy/sell annual holiday window via the flexible benefits platform

  • Facilitate the use of HR systems and maximising the use of manager and employee self-service

  • Support reward in the transactional processing of annual pay, reward, and bonus processes

  • Co-ordinate the Issuing of accurate and timely correspondence particularly in relation to total reward communications

  • Respond to employee and management queries and resolution of any data / processing issues

  • Provide support and cover for other HR team members during demanding workloads and absence as part of own personal development






What you'll need to succeed




  • Degree level education or equivalent



  • Experience working in reward or benefits advisory role

  • Experience working with 3rd party benefits providers



  • Fluent English speaker



  • Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as periods such as annual performance review cycle

  • Knowledge of reward and benefit policies and procedures is advantageous.
