Principais responsabilidades

Responsabilitiy for the General Accountig services :

- Overseeing a RTR team to deliver the period-end close process for 15 to 20 legal entities to include reviewing accruals, prepayments and manual journal entries to ensure that the ledgers are closed in line with corporate timetables and with highlevels ofreporting accuracy and reliability.
- Proving support to the Financial Controller in the local market to provide information, answer questions and facilitate the review and approval process.
- To lead the balance sheet reconciliation process (preparation for higher risk accounts and review for lower risk accounts), where the purpose of the balance sheet reconciliation process is to help ensure that the ending balance on an account as of the reconciliation dateis valid, complete and correctly recorded.
- Managing the Record To Report team (between 6 and 9 team)

Perfil desejado

Skills and experience :

- Qualified Accountant with a recognized accountancy qualification
- Working knowledge of SAP and Advanced Microsoft excel user
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Previous experience working in a GBS environment essential
- Experience with managing a team
