Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.





Your new role

As Migration Application Analyst you will be responsible for the successful design and development of technical objects such as data extraction, transformation, data conversions, loads or workflows for migration of data to S4/HANA, Kinaxis and other applications following the Ferring standards as well as the execution of the data migration activities including validation of the migrated data. Under the supervision of the Migration architect, you will also directly work with users and peer analysts/developers to gather and capture user requirements, work on the migration design, document the migration solution, and assist with the preparation and execution of migration in Test instances as well as in Production. You will design, build and customize data extraction, conversion, loads using Informatica Data Quality, SAP Migration Cockpit & other applications specific to the client’s business area. It will be your responsibility sizing, installing and testing the migration solution, develop and apply conversion rules and standards, facilitating the cleansing, normalization, and standardization of data, unit testing and integration testing for data components deployed to downstream platforms and applications, build professional relationships with team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions. You will active involvement in all phases of the project, design technical specifications and offer clear technical solutions, deliver a high quality and clean implementation according to Ferring & target systems guidelines, migrate and deploy code to all instances, execute, track and document extraction, conversion, load. Finally, you will develop and run status and progress reports, secure integrity of the data, support data validation and sign off of data and perform unit and integration testing.





What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a talented professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Informatica Data Quality (Developer & Analyst) and SAP Migration Cockpit, and a significant experience in Data Migration projects for SAP S4 and S4/HANA. You need to have experience in diverse SAP Data Models across business domains and good knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure/database administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential, as well fluency in English.
