Wärtsilä Energy is now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Mechanical Construction Manager. You will get to lead and manage the mechanical works at site world-wide. We are looking for a person, who enjoys the opportunity to use and enlarge the expertise in an international and dynamic environment. Projects, production locations, Wärtsilä offices, customers and suppliers can be found all over the world. Descrição da Função

Your main responsibilities will be:
Managing, leading and supervising the mechanical works at site in collaboration with other stakeholders.
Supervising all section personnel.
Proactively manage the scope of works, material flow and secure needed resources
Maintain good customer relations and team spirit at site.
Ensure quality and cost efficiency of Mechanical works.
Plan and follow-up work progress of mechanical works at site (Time management, Cost management, Risk management, Quality management).
Manage and update the quality documentation.
Report periodically the mechanical site works status.
Prepare, arrange and document meetings according to needed.
Manage subcontractors.
Coordinate installation and construction works with civil and electrical sections.
Safeguard the compliance with HSSE policies and minimize the risks in own section.

Perfil do Candidato

We are requesting the following requirements for this position:

M.Sc. of B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
Site works experience. Working experience in similar tasks preferred.
Good leadership and organizational skills.
Effective communication, team building and negotiation skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Good technical background and analytical mind.
Mechanical works planning skills.
Willingness to work abroad. Activities are performed mostly abroad.
Ability to adjust to a wide range of conditions and cultural environments.
Project Management knowledge is an advantage.
Good command of English, both oral and written. Other languages as French and Spanish are seen as an advantage.
