A fast growing start-up industry player with an uncapped market potential is looking to recruit a Managing Director to join and lead their unit based in Portugal in order to support the organization to achieve their strategy goals. In terms of culture, this organization offers a perfect balance between the standard industry professionalism and a relax / informal management approach.
YOUR NEW ROLE
You will be responsible to lead the plant and its team based in Portugal, being as well a valuable member of the top global management team on supporting and helping the business to grow accordingly.
Reporting directly to the group CEO your responsibilities will range from managing the plant P&L, ensuring team performance growth, customers account management, lead on technical decisions, be a problem solver on global supply chain bottlenecks, implement improvement projects and assure the company compliance
policies.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
You must have relevant experience as a General Manager / Plant Manager / Operations Manager (or related) within the industry sector and on working closely with customers on an account management basis. You must also be fluent in English and ideally you come from an Engineering academical background.
