Your new role



A key role within the team will be to co-ordinate and plan the transformation effort and beyond in getting the CoE up and running effectively and efficiently. The role will have the ability to develop and manage relationships with KBS customers, collaborating with other KBS Leads across Finance, HR and Procurement, Global Process Owners, our third-party vendors and other delivery partners. The BI Project Manager will be required to execute the following responsibilities:

  • Support the build of the Business Systems reporting team and the associated Data Governance framework that will drive data quality assurance and trusted reporting and data sets.

  • Ensure that Knowledge Management artefacts such as a Reporting Catalogue, a Data Dictionary and Training Materials are developed to support the change in processes required for Reporting and Analytics end users.

  • Establish Demand and Incident Management processes to identify requirements and troubleshoot technical and business problems with the underlying transactional data and data structures.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation is in place for new requirements, for example functional specifications, for technical teams to design, build and test reports using the most appropriate solution.

  • Monitor the development of new requirements and troubleshooting using an Agile project methodology to quickly deliver solutions and solve problems.

  • Support the team lead in the stabilisation and growth of KBS Reporting & Analytics CoE, including the on-going transition of additional services into KBS and the development of internal capabilities within the wider organisation.






What you'll need to succeed




  • Degree level education in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent.

  • Understands the concept of working within a cross functional Global Business Services (GBS) environment.

  • Previous experience managing projects relating to Business Intelligence, Reporting or Analytics teams using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Understanding of the following:

    • ERP Reporting Platforms (SAP, Oracle, IFS)

    • Cloud Analytical Platforms (Azure SQL, GCP, AWS Redshift)

    • Budgeting and Financial Consolidation Solutions (Onestream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion HFM)

    • BI Applications and Visualisation tools such as Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau or Business Objects

    • Advanced Microsoft Office user including Excel, Projects and Powerpoint.



  • Proven experience succeeding in complex, matrix and cross functional projects with the ability to influence across the organisation.

  • Able to efficiently prioritise in line with business priorities, manage limited resources and provide examples of successfully resolving conflicts in task prioritisation.

  • Strong senior level stakeholder management/influencing skills.

  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
