Multinational company is looking for a legal counsel to provide legal advice for the Group Supply Management.
The role
To provide legal and commercial advice and solutions primarily for Group Supply Management and also for group/global IT by:
Providing effective legal and commercial advice and assistance
Draft and negotiate contracts
Assist the function supported regarding the assessment and management of legal and commercial risk and in light of different risk profiles
Help to ensure that business is conducted in accordance with relevant law and internal governance processes
Provide preliminary advice on disputes
Advise on regulatory compliance
Support a range of standard and bespoke contracts and queries with relatively low to medium levels of revenues, complexity and impact
Requirements
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Qualified lawyer in EU jurisdiction with international commercial legal experience (between 3-7 years’ relevant qualified experience)
Good technical knowledge and experience of the law (including contract / commercial law and regulatory issues e.g. Anti-Bribery etc.), contracts and practice relevant to the Segments/Functions supported
Good technical contract drafting and negotiation skills
[IS&T/IP contract experience] / [Procurement and distribution contract experience]
Problem solving – ability to identify and analyse key information to make balanced and appropriate decisions
Problem solving - ability to advise on legal and commercial options and challenge others where necessary
Ability to provide preliminary advice on legal disputes
Good communication and interpersonal skills
English oral and written fluency
