  • The General Ledger & AP Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial records and the efficient management of accounts payable, contributing to the company's financial health;
  • Play a key role in ensuring seamless financial operations, strategic collaboration, and impactful decision-making.

Principais responsabilidades

  • Lead Financial Closures: Guide the AP team and oversee monthly closings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to Corporate via HFM.
  • Payments Management: Guarantee timely and precise payments while partnering closely with the treasury team on related activities.
  • Drive Ledger Accuracy: Conduct regular ledger closings, manage monthly accruals, deferred costs, and ensure accurate manual journal entries.
  • Prepare Financial Statements: Create and validate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, analyzing variances and identifying key insights.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a strategic interface between departments to streamline processes and improve financial operations.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Oversee fixed assets, ensuring accurate reconciliation between the Trial Balance and fixed assets module.
  • Ensure Policy Compliance: Develop and maintain robust processes and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
  • Audit and Compliance Expertise: Provide support during financial statement audits, leveraging your knowledge of audit and accounting compliance to maintain strong relations with auditors.
  • Local Statutory Expertise: Assist in the preparation of local statutory accounts and accompanying financial statement notes.
  • Tax Expertise: Stay ahead of tax regulations, seeking efficiencies while ensuring compliance. Prepare monthly declarations (VAT, withholding taxes, Mod. 30, Intrastat, COPE, SAFT) and support revenue office interactions.

Perfil desejado

  • Degree in finance, accounting or similar;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting role;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a written and oral way;
  • Accurate working-method as well as the ability to meet deadline;
  • Extensive financial analytical skills, business acumen, good understanding of metrics/models/systems;
  • High level of English;
  • knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Oracle Fusion ERP;
  • Independent judgment with strong analytical skills;
  • Able to build strong partnerships with all areas of the business;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Leadership and team management skills.
