Your new role

The Specialist, Contracts role is part of a dynamic and integrated Finance function delivering operational Finance specialist services. The role will report directly to the Source to Pay (S2P) Lead and will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards.


    • Responsible for contract development from researching the legal regulations to negotiating the terms and finalizing the contractual arrangements.

    • Supplier Registration and Credit Check, comprising generation of supplier invitations, assisting with supplier due diligence across Financial Statements, Political & Reputational Information, Cyber Risk, Operational Risk, and contributing to final recommendation.

    • Evaluates and monitors contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.

    • Manage Contracts and Compliance including monitoring of expiring contracts and informing relevant business parties.

    • Responsible for ensuring adherence to policies & controls, aligned to the compliance framework, for all countries & business lines in scope.

    • Support the S2P governance model and develop standard operating procedures for contract administration.

    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

    • Oversee the development and management of reports and key data metrics to support service performance management.

    • Supporting managers in the effective application of S2P processes and policies; ensuring understanding of why processes and policies are in place and providing guidance in alignment to same.

    • Work closely with other process teams within the KBS organisation in the provision of support to business colleagues

    • Responsible for pro-active and regular communication with other areas of the KBS and the wider organisation



    • Support tracking and monitoring compliance for regulatory and both internal / external audit requirements.






What you'll need to succeed


  • Degree level education in Supply Chain Management/Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in using tier one contract management tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle ERP Cloud) at similar size/geographic organisations.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology.

  • Previous experience in a high-volume transactional environment and/or customer-facing role.

  • Detailed experience of contracts, management of a varied contract portfolio, clause library and templates.

  • Full proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Be trustworthy and self-motivated.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to develop, motivate and lead diverse teams and managing workload efficiently across resources.

  • Strong organisation and time management.

  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
