Our Client is looking for a Commercial Team Lead, to lead the sales team in Portugal.

Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define a tactical sales plan, in line with company strategy and compliance policies, to ensure achievement of goals;
  • Study regional sales trends and constantly, plan sales activities based on regional needs to guarantee that territory attains or exceeds assigned sales goals;
  • Manage assigned region within allocated expense budget taking into account expenses and the ROI;
  • Periodically visit top existing customers and top competitor customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction with the products, solutions and the services offered, as well as negotiating terms of sales that will maximize the country interest;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with dental clinics and labs, and key influential leaders to increase the Company's market share;
  • Identify areas for commercial strategy development and suggest changes and improvements;
  • Act as a role model within the region and within the organizational leadership team. Secure that any action undertaken is properly followed up and that the team executes systematic follow ups;
  • Supervise the team activities and the execution of the sales plan;
  • Study and stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies, competitive activity, and other general information of interest to company or to customers.

Profile

Ideal Profile:

  • Experience in the dental or medical device market;
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as ability to build professional relationships and commitments;
  • Good management and leadership capabilities;
  • At least 8 years of management experience including coordination of peers or subordinates;
  • At least 3 years' achievement-oriented sales experience;
  • Academic degree in business, marketing or equivalent;
  • Ability to stabilize priorities and strong organization skills;
  • Availability to travel (national territory);
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Other language is a plus.
