Your new role

The Benefits Advisor will provide specialist benefits advisory to managers and staff as part of the Kantar Business Services (KBS) function covering all aspects of benefits framework. They will also be responsible for the Annual benefit enrolment window, eligibility and enrolment in benefits and administration of complex benefits such as pensions.

  • Provide timely and consistent support to managers ensuring ownership and responsibilities remain in the appropriate places

  • Maintaining knowledge management and documentation to ensure managers and staff always have access to current and compliant documents and guidance

  • Provide learning opportunities and capability uplift managers and HR staff to drive effective utilisation of HR policy and process; always seeking to identify coaching opportunities through interactions

  • Facilitating the use of HR systems and maximising the use of manager and employee self-service (Workday, Service Now, knowledge Articles, Benefits and Payslip Portals, etc.) to ensure consistent and accurate record management

  • Escalating complex issues, concerns and projects to the wider HR Network as required, ensuring ongoing case ownership and clarity of responsibilities to ensure business focused risk managed outcome

  • Work as part of a wider HR services team to ensure agreed service levels, customer promises, and HR outcomes are delivered to the required quality and timeliness standards

  • Advise and guide the business and HRBPs on the application of the flexible benefits scheme

  • Work collaboratively with reward to ensure new developments are implemented effectively

  • Manage the Plan to Perform (P2P) for Benefits providers, solving any issues in collaboration with Finance and the providers as needed

  • Manage the annual buy/sell annual holiday window via the flexible benefits platform

  • Manage the annual / life event changes to benefits by our employees via the flexible benefits platform

  • Facilitate the use of HR systems and maximising the use of manager and employee self-service (Workday, Service Now, knowledge Articles, Benefits and Payslip Portals etc.)

  • Provide coaching and advice to HR Administrators in HR solutions team to ensure appropriate level of knowledge for tier 1 query resolution.

  • Support reward in the transactional processing of annual pay, reward, and bonus processes

  • Co-ordinate the Issuing of accurate and timely correspondence particularly in relation to total reward communications

  • Respond to employee and management queries and resolution of any data / processing issues

  • Actively contribute to your own and others professional development

  • Provide support and cover for other HR team members during demanding workloads and absence as part of own personal development

What you'll need to succeed


  • Degree level education or equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong service ethos and skills

  • Experience working in reward or benefits advisory role

  • Experience working with 3rd party benefits providers

  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office

  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management

  • Good communication skills – ability to adjust communication approach to suit a situation

  • Excellent numerical calculation skills and attention to detail

  • Well organised, with the ability to work simultaneously and effectively to progress several different tasks

  • A good team worker with the ability to work effectively with staff at different levels of an organisation.

  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality

  • Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as periods such as annual performance review cycle

  • Knowledge of reward and benefit policies and procedures is advantageous.
