Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.



Your new role 

Your primary role is to ensure the delivery of the development, support and proper organisation of the team, regarding the Agile methodology working closely with the product owner?



The Scrum Master is a servant leader who will enable our teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices. You will ensure that Team delivers on time and with the expected quality the increments defined in the team backlog, establishing an environment where the team can be effective. It will be your responsibility to address team dynamics, build a high-performing team – Focuses on ever – improving team dynamics and performance, help the team manage interpersonal conflicts, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Escalates people problems to management where necessary. You will be monitoring progress and provide timely feedback, ensure a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team; ensure fluent communication between the Product Owner and the team and support the Product Owner in arranging and optimizing the product backlog. You will protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions, and you will be responsible for creating and onboarding project teams, integrating them into the organization and providing a clear vision of the product and support the adoption of methodology/Agile principles on team level, and the correct implementation of SCRUM within the team and organization including the arrangement and facilitation of team level Scrum events. Finally, it is also your responsibility host daily team meetings to get updates on the progress of the project, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that the project is on track, inform and align with key stakeholders, together with the Product Owner, participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre-and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt(I&A) events as.



What you´ll need to succeed


We are looking for a talented individual with several years of experience in agile, with IT background and degree in relevant areas. You need to be a proactive and collaborative individual, with a strong people and change agility. You need also to have the inter-personal skills to work across different teams and contexts, be able to deliver results through and with people and the capacity to manage conflicts. You need to be a strong problem solver and communicator, with high drive for results, the ability to build a high performing team and to operate successfully in a dynamic environment. Pharma or regulated environment experience and/or international company with global footprint is a plus.
