Descriçăo da oferta

To support the development of the Company Business in a sustainable way through design and implementation of worker welfare standards. To align and work with Operations and external grower base to optimize the efficiency of doing business and improved worker conditions.

Principais responsabilidades

  • Creation of standards and processes on worker welfare that are based on the Company promise to the workforce;
  • Coordinate and participate on 2nd party audits to all external growers;
  • Create Management report on audits and ensure timely socialization of the reports;
  • Liase with Operations to ensure action plans are created and followed-up on;
  • Escalate non-compliance to all relevant stakeholders and ensure action plans are created;
  • Establish strong relationships in the communities we operate in to ensure that the Company is able to create sustainable business activities;
  • Create cost analysis of workers efficiency before and after implementation of programs to ensure case building is created and best practices are logged;
  • Create budget analysis and propose improvement related investment costs towards senior management and or external grower base;
  • Ensure alignment with the Global and Local Worker welfare partners through assessments and Corrective Action Plans and share best practices;
  • Responsible to ensure Portugal grower base is compliant with external audit requirements;
  • Any other task requested by management that is considered to be within the scope of the post holder.

Perfil desejado

  • HR or Social Science related studies at Bachelor degree;
  • Experience with Health and Security at work;
  • Deep Portuguesse Labour Law knowledge (agri sector is a plus);
  • At least 3 years' experience in an international environment in a similar position. Agri sector and Social audit experience is a plus;
  • Excellent English and Portuguese skills in both verbal as written, another European language is a distinct advantage
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Availability to live in the southwest Alentejo (Litoral);
  • Drivers license;
  • Act Farmer/Customer/Consumer alignment oriented;
  • Communicate pro-actively: Strong communication skills verbal and written, able to present, train and persuade in difficult situations.
