Our client is recruiting a Trade Marketing Manager to join a great startup based in Lisbon.

Develop trade marketing strategies, utilizing trade and marketing experience to recommend best tradeled

activities, pushing the brand guidelines whilst protecting the brand image.

Take full ownership of implementation of brand strategic imperatives to deliver company mission.


Reporting to Country Manager the Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and coordination of:

The trade marketing and insights activities to maximize the potential of the company brand in the trade whilst maintaining the brand values;

Trade Marketing Manager should lead the strategy of the local sales team and enable the execution of that strategy via Key Customers in focused channels, Field Sales and Brand Ambassadors teams. This includes all means of communication (internal, trade and shopper), internal coordination between marketing and sales, Merchandising Standards, POS development and implementation, trade marketing projects, customer programs, trial activities and sales analysis to generate insight;

In general, the job holder will co-ordinate and project manage all trade-led marketing activities.


  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Experience 3-5 years in trade marketing/ Customer Marketing roles;
  • Commercial and Marketing experience will be a plus;
  • University degree;
  • Experience in Trade Marketing/ Customer Marketing;
  • Understand retail, passionate about trade and channel marketing;
  • Strong eye for detail and process management;
  • Project management, ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously with excellent personal organizational skills and high attention to detail;
  • Test and learn mindset;
  • Work cross-functionally within a medium-sized, flexible organization, be comfortable with rapidly changing diverse needs and projects;
  • Creativity, ability to develop creative initiatives that resonates with the target audience to achieve campaign goals;
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, ability to leverage quantitative analysis to drive insights & findings;
  • Self-starter - Effective working independently and ability to work in fast-paced,deadline-driven environments.
