Our Client is a major international producer of high-tech articles/products for the Hunting & Sporting sector, with a well established distribution network in Portugal. With the idea to reinforce sales and client relationship in Portugal, our client is looking for an Independent Sales Agent willing to achieve higher results.

Great opportunity to reinforce sales and client relationship in Portugal. working has Independent Sales Agent, with the will to achieve higher results.

Principais responsabilidades

  • Evaluates dealers' needs and builds productive long lasting relationships;
  • Prepares each visit using historical records, promotion tool box and product knowledge;
  • Gets the sale done" mainly by visiting the dealers;
  • Identify and resolves client concerns;
  • Coordinates with distributor's staff to accomplish the work required to close sales;
  • Meets personal and team sales targets;
  • Forecasts sales, provides latest estimate and supports yearly budget process;
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and commercial policy;
  • Based upon market intelligence data and field activity, submits proposals for the dealers network evolution and/or new product and service opportunities;
  • Attends meetings, sales events and trainings. Stays in line with the latest products and strategy developments;
  • Reports and provides feedback to management through weekly reports and regular meetings;
  • Resulting from his field activity, identifies new sales prospects and contacts;
  • If required, implements special sales activities to reduce stock.

Perfil desejado

  • Dynamic and self-driven;
  • Significant experience that has led to a real sales track record (min 4-5 years);
  • Has already covered a large territory. Is used to travel and stay away from home overnight;
  • Speaks a good English. Must be able to exchange with various counterparts at company headquarters (Product Managers, management, Areas Sales Manager, etc);
  • Must understand that sales administration is part of the process;
  • Must understand that forecasts, sales estimates and budget processes are part of the job;
  • Is able to work with figures (feels comfortable with spreadsheets and dashboards);
  • Familiar with sales presentations promotion proposals and sales contracts;
  • Must be willing to discuss all aspects of his/her work (do not hide);
  • Is with us for the long run, no short time approach;
  • Is an independent sales agent, not an employee;
  • Home Based.
