Financial Planning & Analysis Lead France & Portugal

Descrição da Função

We are looking for candidates to manage financial planning and analysis in the EU. The role will provide professional guidance in financial planning and analysis, support Business Development Managers and provide assurance on the underlying business financial performance. Responsibilities will include:

• Planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Financial analysis
• Management reporting
• Financial review of business performance

The role will report to the Regional Head Financial Planning and Analysis for the European Union.

Perfil do Candidato

- Degree level education
- Part qualified with a recognised accounting body or equivalent master degree in business administration or finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operational financial management and/or management accounting

Skills and knowledge:
- Advanced data analysis and problem solving
- Creative and adaptable communication
- Track record of analysing potential risks, promoting risk awareness, and holding others to account for their practices
- Development and review of annual plans for a work group or function, taking account of business and customer requirements and reconciling competing demands
- Interpretation of management information and linking it to business unit strategy and operational performance
- Participation in appraisals that effectively monitor and improve business performance
- Analysis to support decision-making, identification of key value drivers, benefits, sensitivities, and risks and implications for accounting
- Interpretation of management information reports, identification of key causes of variances and evaluation of risks and opportunities
- Analysis of consolidated plans to facilitate effective management reviews and decision making
- Advice on master data attributes that deliver meaningful information
- Partnering with the business to provide sound advice to inform, influence and achieve positive business outcomes
- Reporting, planning & forecasting within a complex multi-site environment
- Ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance people, using non-technical language
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables
- ERP systems experience (transaction level and reporting)
- Fluency in written and spoken English demonstrated through an agreed English language certificate, or will be required to take the APTIS test and demonstrate a B2 level of English proficiency

Candidates must have the right to live and work in Portugal and be able to work and travel in the EU without restrictions.


- Salary: 3028 euros (including meal allowance) – depending on qualifications and skills
