Sodexo is currently implementing a Shared Services Center in Porto that will support several countries across Europe with the processes of Record to Report, Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Master Data, Training & Continuous Improvement, among others. You will be responsible for:

  • Project accounting: business partner of IT budget owners, accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, involved in setting the charge out structure

  • Reporting: Consolidation of monthly, quarterly and half year reporting worldwide (global and regions) and preparation of overall comments & analysis.

  • Forecasting, Budgeting: Works with HQ budget owners to build their assumptions, and liaises with HQ Controlling team that ensure populating & reporting of figures in I.S. and analysis of consolidated (worldwide) figures.

  • IS&T Governance: support and challenge business cases prepared before submission for financial approval

  • Business review: Involvement in Business review preparation

  • Ad hoc analysis, monitoring of action plan on costs optimisation or other subjects depending on priorities (e.g. shadow IT).

What you'll need to Succeed:

  • Energetic and self motivated

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Oral and written fluency in Business English

  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment

  • Demonstrated success building cross-functional global networks and stakeholder management

  • Demonstrated ability and success in creating and delivering effective communication plans and strategies that drive business value and deliver business results

  • Strong understanding of communications strategy, in particular identifying target audiences, generating appropriate messages for each target audience and selecting the correct communications channel

  • Knowledge of and experience with communicating across geographic and cultural boundaries
